I have known Erika for 10+ years...I don't know, maybe 15, I've lost count. There is something everyone who reads this should know about this amazing woman: in all of the touring that we did together, in all of the music business (ad)ventures that ranged from "meh, not too shabby" to "Oy, what did I do?!", I never once heard her say a bad word about anyone. Ever. She is not a sarcastic, cynical person. She doesn't complain, even when she has a reason to. She is one of those rare people who finds beauty in almost everything there is. And frankly, it's annoying. She makes us cynical bitches of the world look bad. (did I mention: she has a wicked sense of humor, and when she reads this...well, I hope she laughs that laugh that only she can laugh.)
