Diva Night II

It's time for healing, celebration, and giving back. Erika has concluded her chemotherapy and now begins her journey to wellness and vitality. No better way than celebrating with some of the Bay Area's finest jazz vocalists at Diva Night II at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley, CA! Through her experience with chemotherapy, Erika witnessed first hand the powerful benefits of integrative medicine (acupuncture, supplements, meditation.) Partial proceeds from the evening will benefit two organizations providing integrative medicine to low income patients: the International Center for Integrative Medicine and The Center for Integrative Medicine at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center.

Erika is on a full return to health and wellbeing! After the surgery to remove the tumors, she began a round of chemotherapy: eight treatments every three weeks. She is responding well to treatment, complementing western approaches with acupuncture, supplements, exercise and meditation. Final treatment will be in mid December. As of now, there is no evidence of cancer. While she deepens on her healing journey, her music is steeping in possibility and expanding in breadth. Stay tuned for upcoming tours and concerts!

On Friday, May 13th, doctors discovered two very large tumors on Erika's ovaries. She will be undergoing surgery and treatment immediately. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Find out how you can help here.

San Diego...and more Passion!

The duo is off to Southern California to bring their brand of AWE to San Diego. Come see them on April 30th in San Diego or catch their next Bay Area show on May 7: An Evening of Passion II! They will be accompanied by the brilliant percussionist, Michaelle Goerlitz. The featured visual artist for the evening will be Eileen Pedersen exhibiting exquisite photo images from a recent journey to India.
